The Wai run fest is a running festival over a week, including 3 main events - The pay-per-k family fun day, the WAI2K 100km Ultra marathon, and the Ian Priest Memorial Hutt Valley Ultra.

The festival will run from Saturday the 4th of January until Saturday the 11th 2020.
The base for the week is the beautiful Tauherenikau Racecourse. Runners and families can camp here, with ample room for tents, Motor homes, and Caravans. If you need a room in the accommodation block there are 38 beds (8 doubles and 22 singles twin share) available.
The Greytown Rail Trail 'Pay-per-k'
Sunday the 5th of January will see runners come along for the family fun run - The Greytown Rail Trail 'Pay-per-k' event. Dress up, raise funds for charity, or just come along for a run along the stunning Woodside Rail Trail.
Wednesday is the WAI2K - which will see runners taking on a challenging 100km course around the amazing hills of the Wairarapa. Choose the 100, run 80 or do the 2 person relay event.
Ian Priest Memorial Hutt Valley Ultra
Saturday 11th is the Ian Priest Memorial Hutt Valley Ultra. This run takes runners from Cross Creek in the Wairarapa, to Petone in Lower Hutt.
There will be other events on the go over the week, so come along and spend the week enjoying the sights of the glorious Wairarapa!
