Held over 10 days in November and led by locals, the Wairarapa Walking Festival is an annual event celebrating the wonders of the region.
The festival covers a variety of walks in Masterton, Carterton, Martinborough, Featherston and Greytown, from the mountains to the coast, including dog-friendly and pushchair accessible walks.
Hear informative talks from local personalities and experts and explore somewhere completely new in the Wairarapa. You may visit a marae, walk on private land or get your wet feet in a local stream!
All are welcome, and most walks are free.
